NeroModena was created from the passion of two “DOP” people from Modena:

Alessandro Calveri, an expert producer who has been working in the Balsamic Vinegar industry for 30 years, and Marina Spaggiari, a keeper of ancient production secrets of her family and an expert at Traditional Balsamic Vinegar from Modena. In 2005 they came together to create a new business that combines old tradition with modern technology, a winning combination where ancient secrets come together with modern production techniques.

The company is located in the countryside around Modena.

This is the place that was chosen to product Balsamic Vinegar from Modena. The company is surrounded by thirteen hectares of Trebbiano and Lambrusco vineyards, which are typical of the area and which have been awarded with the IGP and DOP Standards of Identity of the Balsamic Vinegar from Modena. Our grapes are harvested by hand only, and the must is always cooked over direct fire, according to ancient methods. After the formation and maturation phase, the product is aged in over five thousand casks with different sizes and made of different types of wood.

The production process is completed in two innovative bottling plants

In these plants, bottles with different sizes and shapes are filled. The quality of the production, the plants and the company structure make it possible for NeroModena to be positioned in the medium-high market segment and thus to reach the most important and prestigious points of sale, both in Italy and abroad.
